  • Windows Autopilot is a cloud-based service for pre-configuring, resetting, and restoring computing devices to improve enterprise productivity.
  • Reduce the amount of time IT spends deploying, managing and decommissioning equipment.
  • Reduce the infrastructure required to maintain devices.
  • Maximize ease of use for all types of end users.

Windows AutoPilot Process Overview

When Windows is initially on the device, Windows Autopilot uses an OEM-optimized version of the Windows client. This version is pre-installed on the device, so you do not have to maintain custom images and drivers for each device model. Without re-imaging the device, existing Windows device installations can be converted to a "business-ready" state, which can as below:

  • Application Settings and Policies
  • Installing Applications
  • Change the version used for Windows features. For example, from Windows Pro to Windows Enterprise.

What can we do for you?

Windows AutoPilot allows users to use it directly to install new Windows 10 devices without guidance from the I department. This allows the end user (employee) to receive the device directly from the vendor at home.
IT does not perform any image processing until the device is handed over to the end user. This saves a lot of time for the IT department.
Once the user turns on the device (and connects it to the Internet), it performs an online check with Microsoft to determine if the device has been registered with the Windows Autopilot service. If it is registered, the company's login page is displayed to enter the company credentials. After authentication, registration with Azure AD and Microsoft Intune will begin. The settings deployed with Intune will be pushed to the device as a package. Once registration is complete, the end user will be logged in to the appliance and have a working appliance.
You can allow the appliance to register with AzureAD and the local ActiveDirectory to get a hybrid AzureAD join. By installing the Configuration Manager client, you can also set up co-managed devices.
After deployment, Brocent can offer to manage devices using Windows, including but not limited to the following.

  • Microsoft Intune
  • Windows updates for the enterprise
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • Other similar tools
